Three logos, one motion language.

Northwind, Ossia, and Merqa each needed the same thing: a reveal that makes their mark unforgettable in under six seconds. We built a shared motion system — then gave each brand its own accent, so the family feels related but never identical.

Northwind · 0:06 · star reveal
OSSIA
Ossia · 0:05 · emblem build
merqa
Merqa · 0:04 · letter stagger

The challenge

Static logos were dying in feeds: skipped in two seconds, forgotten in five. Each brand needed motion that reads at thumbnail size, survives muted autoplay, and still feels premium on a cinema screen — three contexts, one asset family.

The approach

We defined one easing curve and one reveal grammar for all three marks, then varied the accent: Northwind unfolds star-first, Ossia aligns ring-first, Merqa staggers letter by letter. Same timing DNA, three distinct personalities.

Construction board · star and rings

Grid, clear space, and ring offsets defined before any animation began.

Mark construction: the star and ring geometry pinned to a grid before it moved.

Deliverables

  • 3 hero reveals (6s, 5s, 4s) in 4K
  • Muted-autoplay and loop variants
  • Lottie files for web and app
  • Motion usage guide for each brand
